2013 MEXICO SUMMER TRIPs

June 17- June 23
(There is a college student track for this trip)

July 28- August 3

Cost: $575 plus Airfare

Cost includes:
Transportation, Lodging, Project costs,
all but one meal while in Mexico, t-shirt, training, etc.

A $175 non-refundable deposit will
reserve your spot on the trip.

June 17-23rd week only has a few more spots available.

  How to register    
  1) Download the registration form
2) Fill it out
3) Mail in Registration form and $225 deposit made out to "Be2Live" to:

  Where    
  We will be going to La Mision, Mexico. La Mision is one hour south of San Diego right along the Baja coast.

 
  Lodging    
  We will be staying at Door of Faith Orphanage, home to over 100 children.

 
  Projects    
  We do not know our projects yet, but it could range from pouring cement to painting. We will be delivering food to some of the families in need of food in the community. We will also have plenty of time to play with children at the orphanage and day care.

 
  Food and Water    
  Our lunches and dinners will be provided by Open Arms Day Care. It is American safe food. We will only be drinking filtered water.

 
  Meetings    
  Team meetings are for student and adults who will be going on the trip. There will only be ONE team meeting for each trip. Content will consist of team building, trip set-up, cultural acquisition, etc.
Team meeting for 18-24th will be June 3rd. Time and place TBD.

 
  Fundraising    
 

Please do not let the cost of the trip keep you from going. We will work with you to find a way for you to go. We will be doing Three fundraisers.
1) Soi candle Sales
2) Letter writing: We will provide you with a form letter that you can mail to friends and family members to tell them what you will be doing and ask for financial help. Any money that people send as a result of your letters will go to your cost of the trip. Even if you do not intend to raise money this way we believe that it would be good for people to know what you are going to do.
3) Car Wash: We will provide you with car wash tickets to pre-sell. Every ticket you sell will go towards your cost of the trip. We will then host a car wash.

Any money raised over your cost of the trip will go toward the cost of our projects and scholarships.
